The ultimate Skicircus Bucket List for Winter

Winter is finally here again! We have been looking forward to carving on perfectly groomed slopes again for a long time, accompanied by a unique panoramic view and surrounded by a winter landscape like something out of a picture book. In the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, there is lots to discover. After all, it's no coincidence that here we say: "One Day is not Enough"! To make it a little easier for you to choose between the countless activities, we have put together the ultimate Skicircus Bucket List, just in time for the winter start!

#1: Download the new Home of Lässig App

Since this winter, the new Home of Lässig App provides maximum service and information on your smartphone. For the first time, all locations of the Skicircus with all offers on the mountain are integrated in one app. A highlight is the new point-to-point navigation in the entire ski area, which always reliably guides you from A to B thanks to real-time information. All infrastructure in the Skicircus is stored in the app. If you want to take a break in between, you can easily search for one of the 60 ski huts and be guided there. You can also find lots of other information in the app, track your successes using GPS recording and even book all kinds of tickets. The Home of Lässig app will be released around Christmas, so the wait is not long anymore!

#2: Be the first on the slopes

Even if it's often tough to get out of bed in the morning, it's worth getting up early when you can then take your first turns on a freshly groomed slope. The best thing to do is to check the lift opening times the night before, so that you can be the first ones to get into the gondola on time. Get a little piece of freedom and tranquillity when the first rays of sun shine in your face. This is the best way to recharge your batteries for the ski day ahead. Believe me - you won't regret it!

#3: Finding the best Kaiserschmarrn

With more than 60 ski huts in the Skicircus, it can be difficult to decide where to stop for a bite to eat. So why not make a challenge out of it and try your hand at everything? Kaiserschmarrn, a classic of Austrian cuisine, is the perfect choice. Whether with or without raisins, with apple sauce or stewed plums, you're sure to find this delicious dish in most huts. So make it your goal to try as many different Kaiserschmarrns as possible. Maybe at the end of the season you'll find a clear winner and even a new favourite hut!

#4: Conquering "The Challenge"

"The Challenge" is rather the opposite of a cosy Kaiserschmarrn meal. With 12,400 metres of altitude, 65 kilometres of slopes and 32 lifts, it is the largest ski circuit in the Alps. Athletic skiers can complete the circuit in around 7 hours (without Kaiserschmarrn, of course). As a reward, you will get a little surprise at the main ticket offices. You can record your success right from the start, now even in the new Home of Lässig app. Challenge accepted?

#5: Test the new Asitzkogel lift in Leogang

The old 6-seater chairlift Sportbahn 2000 has been replaced by the 8-seater chairlift Asitzkogelbahn on the mountains of Leogang this winter: a state-of-the-art detachable 8-seater chairlift with weather protection bubbles and safety bars. Be one of the first guests to enjoy the comfort of this lift!

#6: Take a photo at all photo points in the Skicircus

You will find our Photopoints at four mountain stations in the Skicircus, divided between the towns of Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn. With your ski pass you can activate the photo shoot and later collect your souvenir photo online using your card number. You can then post the snapshots and share them with your friends. Will you manage to take a photo at all four photo points?

#7: Enjoy the sun with a cool drink in your hand

Of course, here at the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, it's not just the sporting aspect that's important, but also the enjoyment. Especially when the sun is shining, there's nothing better than taking a little break and recharging your batteries with a bit of vitamin D. With a cool or even warm drink and good company, you can savour it especially well. But be careful - don't forget sunscreen in case the break turns out to be a bit longer!

#8: Become a freeride pro

It is not without reason that the Skicircus is known as the freeride mecca par excellence. Beginners can slowly get to grips with off-piste skiing here, the necessary skills can be learned in numerous freeride camps or with a freeride guide. The pros among you can experience spectacular lines, for example at the Wildseeloder in Fieberbrunn, where the Freeride World Tour will also be stopping in March 2023. Here you can find the absolute feeling of freedom while gliding weightlessly in the glittering powder snow!

#9: Find variety away from the piste

Besides 270 kilometres of pistes and 70 lifts, the Skicircus of course has a lot more to offer! Try out a new sport such as cross-country skiing or explore one of the many toboggan runs, some of which are also floodlit. If you are looking for action, for example paragliding will get the adrenaline in your body flowing. With Timok's Alpine Coaster in Fieberbrunn, there really is something for everyone. It's best to make your own list of things you absolutely want to experience!

#10: Take a winter hike and spot the Golden Gate Bridge

With or without snowshoes, winter hiking is always a good idea! On your hike, you can include exciting stops like the Fairytale Forest, where childhood memories are awakened. The Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps is also a must. This is part of the Treetop Trail, which is even the highest treetop hiking trail in Europe. If you want to experience the whole adventure in a group, there are always guided winter hikes on offer - so let's get going!

On that note - have fun and hopefully we'll see you soon in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn!
