When the perfect piste conditions in the mornings start to wane as the day's temperatures rise, Saalbach Hinterglemm has a joker at the ready: thanks to the east-west orientation of the Glemmtal valley, there is a sunny side and a shady side. If the pistes on the sunny side become soft in the course of the day, simply switch to the shady side and continue to enjoy slopes in a good condition.
