Avalanche reports

By way of the cableways and lift systems, occasionally also after a short hike, it is possible to reach unsecured and uncontrolled terrain in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. Despite the great temptation, you must not forget about the high-Alpine dangers of freeriding. Anyone venturing off the secured slopes is acting at their own risk!

Salzburg Avalanche Warning Service

Before starting off into the adventure in deep snow, you should be aware of the current avalanche situation. To be able to do this, you have to read and understand the reports of the avalanche warning service. Anyone completely unfamiliar with this should definitely seek professional advice from a freeride guide.
