New discipline at the World Games of Mountainbiking

RACE MODE E-Marathon

Half an hour before the traditional marathon distances, the new World Games of Mountainbiking E-Bike Marathon competition starts in the center of Hinterglemm. This new discipline leads via Saalbach up to the Bernkogel. The route to the Wetterkreuz corresponds to the Marathon 21 route and separates at the Wetterkreuz. For e-bikers, it gets tough again when they go up to the Reiterkogel. After this brilliant summit storm, you glide towards the Rosswaldhütte and down into the valley, where you crank along the promenade towards the head of the valley. At the Wallegg level, the e-biker can climb the uphill towards the Hochalm reservoir and on to the Rosswaldhütte. Yes, this new route is, figuratively speaking, an “eight” and the Rosswaldhütte forms the junction of this e-marathon. The further route goes above the new reservoir to the Reiterkogel Mitte and via the Pfefferweg to the finish in the center of Hinterglemm.
