Starting from the Schattberg over the 7 highest peaks of Saalbach / Hinterglemm to the Lindlingalm.
For those who are in tip-top shape, surefooted and experienced mountain hikers, a new challenge awaits you: The "Seven Summits of Saalbach Hinterglemm".
This 24 kilometre long mountain tour will take you over the highest peaks of the Glemm Valley to an altitude of 1.413 metres and is a tour for hardy and fit individuals.
After the ascent with the Schattberg X-press the Seven Summits Tour starts. Over the Stemmerkogel and Hochkogel follow the signposts to the ascent over the Hochsaalbachkogel. Continue over the Bärensteigkogel, Manlitz- and Mittagskogel to the highest mountain in the Glemm Valley, the Geißstein which stands at 2.363 metres.
Preserve some energy for the tricky descent over the Birgl at the end of the valley. Along this route there are no serviced mountain huts and it is a good idea to plan beforehand: only possible with good equipment, ample provisions and water. Good weather conditions are required for this tour.
