The day begins early in the Saalbach mountains. Kissed by the morning sun, strengthened with a rich breakfast, get ready for one of the countless hiking trails in Saalbach Hinterglemm. There are more than 400 km of hiking trails. Over rough and smooth, passing beautiful mountain lakes and breathtaking landscape, you hike towards the summit. The reward for a tiring ascent is a boundless view. The mountain chains of the Pinzgau Grass Mountains on one side and the rugged edges of the Kitzbühel Alps on the other. Full of longing, the view glides over a dreamlike landscape and with every second, fresh air is inhaled and the burden of everyday life flows away.

But there are also more comfortable ways to climb the mountains in Saalbach Hinterglemm. In the summer, as many as four mountain railways are available for an untroubled ascent into the mountains of SalzburgerLand. During summer 2018, the operating periods of the gondolas will be extended in spring and autumn. And the best thing: With the Joker Card you can ride on mountain railways free of charge. Over 40 huts in the area provide refreshments after an extensive hike. The hut hosts serve traditional delicacies: From a tasty Brettljause with local products to a traditional Kaiserschmarrn.

 Those who love adrenaline in their veins will find numerous possibilities in Saalbach Hinterglemm. At the head of the valley, there is an area for action freaks. In addition to the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps and the Tree-Top Trail, there are also a high rope course, the Jump & Slide Park and Teufelswasser. In Saalbach Hinterglemm, boredom is certainly unheard of.
