Midsummer Night Celebrations

When the longest day meets the shortest night, summer is welcomed in the Alps in a very special way.
 

On the summer solstice on Saturday, 22 June 2024, numerous mountain fires are lit. You can experience a magnificent view from the Westgipfel summit in Hinterglemm at 2,096 metres above sea level.
 

The Westgipfelhütte is open right next to the top station for culinary delights.

Operating hours Westgipfel lift:

• Normal operating hours from 9.00 am to 4.15 pm (Prices as per experience map & price list)
• Additional operating hours from 5.30 pm to 11.00 pm (Hiking Card, Bike Tickets and JOKER CARD are only valid during the normal operating hours (9.00 am to 4.15 pm) - not valid for additional operating hours, no bike transportation!)

In case of bad weather, the midsummer night celebration will be cancelled.
