Freeride offer

"Easy up - Wild down" is the motto of the Skicircus. This is why 70 modern lift facilities provide access to fascinating deep snow slopes for freeride enthusiasts. But also newcomers and kids have got plenty of choices and can make their first swings on smooth corn snow slopes - without any long ascents. This is what makes the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn a freeride area for all levels of skill.

Freeride Park:

In a designated area at the Muldenbahn in Leogang there are various obstacles and kickers integrated into the natural terrain, providing lots of fun on deep snow slopes.

Freeride routes:

Freeride routes are well signposted runs which can partly be found on our ski routes. But also special ski slopes are sometimes marked as freeride routes as they do not get prepared any more after fresh snowfall.

Avalanche beacon search fields:

You can find avalanche beacon search fields for practising with your own avalanche transceiver at the peak of Schattberg and at the Zillstatt lift. You have to activate up to four of the six buried transmitters in the search field and track and probe them within a given period of time. More training options from now on with the Pieps-App.

Avalanche BeaCon Checkpoints:

Throughout the skiing area you find avalanche beacon checkpoints at many key mountain stations. By passing the checkpoints every freerider can easily test whether the life-saving device is turned on and sending out signals.

Info point:

In the Skicircus freeriders can access a check point with the avalanche warning system LO.LA*, information material and overview maps to plan trips.
