SH 77 Zwölferkogel - Route

With almost 1,000 meters of elevation, a demanding route to the mountain station of the Zwölferkogelbahn.

Running parallel to route SH38, the trail starts into the Schwarzachergraben. After a few kilometers, you turn right and continue with a steady incline up to almost 2,000 m high. The path leads you mostly on wide forest roads, first through woods, past the Breitfußalm, and finally over mountain meadows. If you're lucky, you might even spot one or two marmots here. For the return, you roll about 4 km parallel to the outbound path downhill and then keep left towards Hintermaisalm. From there, you take a few switchbacks until you reach the path in the Schwarzachergraben again and cycle the last few kilometers back to Hinterglemm.
