SH 33 Finsterbach - route

Varied route with interesting trail options.

From the starting point at the Schattberg X-Press, you ride through the town center heading north and then straight along the Spielbergbach creek up to just below the Spielberghaus. In some long switchbacks, you go uphill through the forest and after crossing the ski slope reach the highest point at just under 1,700 m elevation. Shortly after, you reach the reservoir pond below the Wetterkreuz, which invites you to rest with a fantastic panoramic view. The descent then takes place either via the forest road or the chill Wetterkreuz trail; both paths converge again just before the Reiteralm. Then continue to the lift station of the Reiterkogelbahn and from there descend in several switchbacks via the forest road or via Blue-Line or Pro-Line down to Hinterglemm.
