Hike to the Devil's Water in Saalbach Hinterglemm

Fun, adventure, and educational experiences await you at the many attractions in the Saalbach Hinterglemm valley end

The “magical” world of Valley End Devil's Water is a spaciously designed theme park that leads past many play and wellness stations centered around the element of water. A rock pool invites tired hikers to refresh their mountain-hardened calves in cool spring water. Children become builders by damming and guiding the Devil's Water, which splashes over several levels and through crystal-clear gravel basins.

Directly next to the Devil's Water at Lindlingalm is Schnitza’s Wood Park, an adventure playground focused on the element wood. Visitors, both big and small, can expect a lovingly designed park featuring Alpine mini-golf, the milking cow Tamara, pendulum bowling, balance courses, motor skills games, and many other wooden games. Weekly carving demonstrations show the creation of oversized wooden figures. Visitors can actively participate in carving workshops to make hiking sticks and edelweiss, for example.

High Ropes Course with Eurozipline

Not only for wire acrobats and daredevils who want to go high: Next to Schnitza’s Wood Park is Austria’s largest high ropes course with Europe’s longest zipline, where you can fly like Superman over the valley end or balance at dizzying heights over narrow beams!

Tree Tip Path with the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps

The 200-meter-long hanging bridge at 1,300 meters above sea level starts directly next to Lindlingalm. After crossing the bridge, the 650-meter-long “Tree Tip Path” begins – a sturdy circular path made of solid larch wood that runs over stairs, towers, and bridges over several floors up to 30 meters above the ground among the treetops.

Even those not quite so brave feel comfortable here and can watch the balancing and climbing visitors of the adjacent high ropes course from up close.
