Sourdough bread baking course by Brototyp
In this course you will learn all the basics and basic techniques for baking with rye sourdough.
Each participant prepares their own bread type step by step, which is then taken home fresh from the oven. We will bake a wholemeal crusty bread based on rye and wheat, which we will refine with ancient grains. The result is an aromatic, crispy wholemeal sourdough bread that leaves a cosy, warm feeling in your stomach.
We are also continuing a piece of Austria's culinary heritage, as our brown bread tastes better anywhere else than it does here!
All bakers receive their own rye sourdough starter during the course (the sourdough mother is called ‘Hildegard’, but you can then re-baptise her ;) Dough card, recipes & guidelines for further baking at home.
At the end of the course there will be a joint snack with antipasti á la Franziska, where we will taste and enjoy the results of the course.
The aim of the course is not only to enable you to bake wonderful bread yourself afterwards, but also to share a special experience with the HOL TEAM community! We look forward to seeing you!
