Step by step through the open terrain with the MT Experts Berg & Skiführer Saalbach.

Where the hustle and bustle of skiing ends, peace and untouched nature begins: the so-called backcountry, or our free and sometimes wild terrain. You decide how we shape this adventure: a leisurely, meditative walk above the tree line or an adrenaline-filled climb to one of the surrounding peaks.

Dates & price:

• Date: every Thursday
• Meeting point: 9:00 a.m. at the Westgipfelbahn valley station
• Minimum number of participants: 4 people
• Price: €120 per person
• Group: up to 8 participants
• Included: mountain guide, snowshoes & poles, avalanche transceiver equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe)
• Excludes: Refreshments & transfers

What to expect:

• Guided snowshoe hike with mountain guide
• Small groups for an intense nature experience
• Hike through the backcountry of Saalbach
• Leisurely and meditative or athletic and alpine, as desired
• Stop at a traditional mountain hut
• Includes avalanche transceiver equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) for maximum safety

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you can rebook or upgrade to private guiding.
