Local history and ski museum

You can experience the history of Saalbach-Hinterglemm first-hand!

The steep path from the poor mountain village, the forgotten valley of the first centuries, the first mountain farmers from 1222 until the construction of the church in 1410, the first market from 1489 until the construction of the entire infrastructure of today’s tourist resort. The old national road from Maishofen to Saalbach to the now perfect traffic regulation of the entire municipality. And the first ski experiences from 1989 to the ultra modern ski resort that we have today.
