Lake of Charity

The legendary Lake of Charity is back! Join us for Lake of Charity 2027 from 23–25 July 2027 at the Schönleiten reservoir in Saalbach – a new location, the same passion, and an even bigger heart.

What started in 2011 as a spontaneous idea between three friends – symbolically throwing a small charitable stone into the emerald-green waters of the Westgipfel reservoir in Hinterglemm – has grown into one of the most inspiring events in the action sports community, creating waves of generosity for a great cause.

Over the years, more than €500,000 has been raised and donated to families and children in need across the Pinzgau region. In 2027, Lake of Charity will once again support local families and community projects.

Please note: In 2027, you'll find us at the Schönleiten reservoir in Saalbach, located at the top of the mountain next to the Schönleitenbahn top station and the Wildenkarhütte.
