Freeride Beginner Day

The MT Experts Berg & Skiführer Saalbach will teach you the basic skills for skiing in deep snow. And, of course, this takes place in open terrain. The Freeride Beginner Day is your introduction to the world of deep snow skiing in Saalbach Hinterglemm.

Dates & prices: 

• Date: every Wednesday
• Meeting point: 9:00 a.m. at the Westgipfelbahn valley station
• Minimum number of participants: 4 people
• Price: €120 per person
• Group: up to 6 participants
• Included: state-certified ski guide/mountain guide, avalanche equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe)
• Not included: ski pass, transfers

What to expect: 

• Guided freeride day especially for beginners
• Small groups (max. 6 participants)
• Introduction to avalanche awareness & avalanche transceiver use
• Technique training: body position, balance, and turns in deep snow
• First descents directly from the piste into the backcountry
• Flexible choice of areas around Saalbach, Leogang, and Fieberbrunn

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you can rebook or upgrade to private guiding.
