Free guided hike: Sonnseitpromenade

Our certified mountain guides will show you the most beautiful winter hikes in and around Saalbach Hinterglemm.

• Meeting point: 10:00 a.m., Schattberg X-Press valley station
• Duration: approx. 3,5 hours
• Walking time: approx. 3 hours
• Elevation profile: approx. 200 m, appropriate fitness required
• Distance: 9 km
• Difficulty: technically easy hike, mainly on cleared forest paths
• Route description: via Sonnseitpromenade to Jausern – return via Saalachpromenade to Saalbach
• What to bring: good, sturdy shoes, winter clothing, warm drink
• Registration is not required!

Important note: In alpine areas, weather conditions and therefore the condition of winter hiking trails can change at short notice. Use of all winter hiking trails is at your own risk; no liability is accepted.

General information for guided hikes:

• Ankle-high hiking boots and winter clothing (gloves, hat, etc.) are required for all hikes!
• Walking times include ascent and descent!
• Hikes take place in all weather conditions - alternative routes are available in case of bad weather! The meeting point remains the same. 
• We thank you for your understanding that dogs are not allowed on guided hikes.
