The 300 year old Polten Alm is in the heart of the Saalbach mountains, directly at piste no. 63.

The 300 year old Poltenalm Saalbach is at 1740 mt sea level and is available during summer and winter season.

She accommodates up to 8 persons at 150 sqm on two etages.

In winter you can reach the hut only with skis or a skidoo (for transport of luggage).
The hut is approx. 150 mt underneath the Schönleiten cable car mountain station, directly at the blue downhill piste no. 63.
In summer you can reach Poltenalm also by car.

The hut has 3 bedrooms for 2 persons each, as well as a bedsofa for 2 persons.
Linnen, towels and kitchen towels are included.
The heating is with a cockle stove and a wooden stove in the kitchen, as well as electronical heating in the bathroom.
You have electricity, of course.

Arrival in summer season: meeting point at Hotel Tiroler Buam. Josef Mühlauer, the owner, brings you to the hut. Easy way up the mountain via an asphaltic street.
Arrival in winter season: The parking is at Hotel Tiroler Buam, right next to the valley station of Schönleiten cable car. The luggage has to be transported via the cable car. Therefore you need to be at the hotel the latest at 01.00 pm. Josef Mühlauer will bring you with skis to the hut.
