Panorama Trail - the alternative route

The Panorama Trail is the perfect trail running route in the mountains of Saalbach! This alternative variant avoids the peaks in contrast to the main route of the Panorama Trail.

The Panorama Trail - the alternative route is like its big brother, the Panorama Trail, a promising trail run in Saalbach with everything the trail runner's heart desires. The ideal start is with a comfy lift ride with the modern 12er KOGEL lift. At the top of the Zwölferkogel, the endurance trail run starts and leads over the summits and “Kogels” to the Schattberg, where a gondola ride down to the valley indulges your joints. The panorama captivates through the Hohe Tauern in the south with the Großglockner, Großvenediger, and the Limestone Alps in the north.Along the entire route, the constant altitude level is around 2,000 meters. In contrast to the Panorama Trail, the alternative routes at the foot of each peak are targeted here. Therefore, the run has relatively few summit victories. The route could be run also in the opposite direction.
