Challenging mountain ascent to Hochkogel

• Meeting point: 9:15 AM at the valley station of the Westgipfelbahn
• Duration: approx. 5.5 hours
• Distance: approx. 10.8 km
• Elevation gain: approx. 350 m
• Route: Ascent with the Westgipfelbahn – via Marxtenscharte – Seetörl – Hochkogel – descent via Hacklbergalm back to the middle station of the Westgipfelbahn
• Requirement: good physical condition, sure-footedness, no fear of heights, and a sporty pace are required.

The Westgipfelbahn is free of charge with the JOKER CARD.

• Guided tours are free with the JOKER CARD or guest card
• Ankle-high hiking boots, rain gear, and sun protection are required for all hikes
• Walking times include ascent and descent
• The hike takes place in all weather conditions – alternative routes are available in bad weather
• Please note that dogs are not permitted on guided hikes
