Time to breathe - lecture by Alexander Huber “Huberbuam”

Time to breathe - lecture by Alexander Huber “Huberbuam”

Alexander Huber moves in the border areas of the vertical world, in the eleventh degree of alpine walls as well as on the great mountains of the world. The extreme climber paints a vivid picture of modern alpinism, showing extreme free climbing in the Alps, in Sardinia as well as in the cold and thin air of the high altitude on the wild mountains of Pakistan.

With a steep mixture of images and film sequences, I let the audience participate in the world of the mountains. It's about success and failure on the big mountains, about tactics and feeling for the big walls and about the values and goals you need as a mountaineer. Because it is not the mountain that you conquer, but always your own self! Mountaineering is therefore nothing more than a metaphor for life and thus leaves room for looking at daily challenges from a completely new perspective.
