Adventure trail “Montelino” for Families and Children in The Valley of Fun and Games Saalbach Hinterglemm!

The adventure trail for children is located between the top station and middle station of the Kohlmais cable car in Saalbach Hinterglemm for all those who love stories and fantastic adventures. The ascent with the Kohlmaisbahn is free of charge for all JokerCard holders.

Kids and families enter the fabulous world of the little clown Montelino who lost his smile…  Can the kids help Montelino to be all smiles again? The little clown neglected his friends and toys, so one day they disappeared and his toy-box was empty. Now Montelino is terribly sad and desperately needs the help of the kids.

Equipped with an empty toy-box, which can be obtained at the bottom station of Kohlmais cable-car, they follow the wise owl, jump on the cable-car and soar up to the top of the Kohlmais Mountain. Along a scenic walking trail from top to middle station through woods and alpine meadows the kids search for the clown´s lost friends and toys within a beautiful nature environment.  

From the spider web and the target-throwing game, to the giant snake Paula and the Punch and Judy Show. From the squirrel nest with the golden nut to the huge slide and the circus arena – there is plenty to discover and experience for the children. All little helpers of the clown Montelino, who send in a completed toy-box, take part in a lottery drawing and can win a holiday in Saalbach Hinterglemm.

The use of the adventure trail is free of charge and for all guests that stay in a JokerCard Partner Hotel the ascent with the cable cars is included. The toy-box can be received at the bottom station of Kohlmais cable car and is included in the lift ticket. With a total walking distance of 90 minutes and a length of three kilometres this trail is even ideal for a half-day trip. Along the trail several traditional and cosy mountain huts with special children’s meals invite the hikers to stay.
